Der SCE hatte mit dem SK Kirchweyhe ein ung\u00fcnstiges Los, am Ende gab es ein 2-2 Unentschieden. Acht GM waren beteiligt, der Gastgeber war leicht favorisiert.<br \/>\nNun musste die Entscheidung \u00fcber Blitzpartien mit vertauschten Farben fallen, hier unterlag der SCE mit 1,5-2,5. An Brett 1 verlor Igors Rausis, an Brett 2 Normunds Miezis. Ognjen Cvitan remisierte und Andre Sokolov gewann seine Blitzpartie.<br \/>\nF\u00fcr das Halbfinale qualifizierte sich am Sonntag \u00fcberraschend der SV Greifswald, sie erreichten gegen Kirchweyhe
